Launch DVD to iPod Converter, you will see the right UI.
1. Open the copy DVD to iPod software. Choose the profile (output format), encode speed, and set the output folder. You need to set the output folder to your hard disk.
2. Insert DVD to DVD-ROM. Click "Open DVD" button on the skin or choose "Menu>file->Open DVD "
3. Set the Basic Input setting Audio track, Subtitle on the menu of the preview screen. Move the start to the position you expected. Play the title you want to record, it will pop up the following window, choose "record from movie start point" and output file size.
4. If you have not start recording the DVD at step3, you also can click "record" button to record when the movie playing to the place you expected.
Done.
Launch iPod Video Converter, you will see the right UI.
1. Select the button "Open file" to open the files you want to convert.
2. Click the button "Output" to set the output folders.
3. Click the "Convert" button to start the converting.

Sync your iPod and library to transfer the converted output MP4 file to iPod
Tools required: itunes7 or later
1. Connect your ipod to pc. Launch itunes7 , you will see the right UI.
2. Be sure the "Manually manage music and videos" are not checked.
3. Click the File on menu, choose "Add File to Library"... you will see the right UI.
4. Choose the converted output file from the output folder.
5. You can find the video at "Movies", right click the file, in Get info to set the kind of your video, see the right UI. Then you can find the video at related playlist.
6. Choose "Sync iPod" at the menu, you will see the right UI. You can see the progress of updating files on iPod.
7. When the updating completed, you will find the video on you iPod.

Manually transfer the converted output MP4 file to iPod
Tools required: itunes7 or later
1. Connect your iPod to pc. Launch itunes7 , you will see the right UI.
2. Be sure the "Manually manage music and videos" are checked.
3. Right click your iPod on left list, click "New playlist", create a new list to place the video you converted.
4.Click the "New playlist" you created. Open the output folder, drag the output MP4 file into the window like right picture.
5.You can see the updating process like right pic.
6.When the updating completed, you will find the video in the new playlist on you iPod. Right click the file, in Get info to set the kind of your video. Then you can find the video at related playlist.
